Track Information

The historic Pinjarra Race Club, where racing first began in 1891, is situated in an idyllic location, 85 kilometres south-west of Perth, in Racecourse Road, Pinjarra. The Darling Range Scarp forms the backdrop to the course. Beautifully lawned and with shady trees, the race club is the ideal place to spend hot summer afternoons. Today's modern race track was newly completed in 1976, and has had one major upgrade in 1998/99 which gave state of the art cambering to all turns, together with new automatic irrigation and improved drainage. The track is 1837m in circumference, with the length of the home straight 336m. Pinjarra Park now compares favourably with any race track in Australia, widely acknowledged for our safe racing surface and fairness to all horses.
