John Gangemi heads up the Gangemi Racing Stables which is a family owned and operated training facility located on 5 acres in the heart of the Swan Valley, only a 15 minute drive from Ascot Racecourse. With individual walk in walk out grassed paddocks, modern walking machine, beach sand stalls and access to the best farriers, vets and chiropractors, you can be assured all horses are treated to the best Perth racing facilities have on offer. Gangemi Racing has experienced notable success since the re establishment of the stables in 2004 and is a team venture comprising of John Gangemi and his two sons, Michael and Chris.

John has over 20 years experience in not only training horses, but all feed and developmental requirements. John has a strong hands on approach and the belief of quality rather than quantity towards training, which has been instilled into both Michael and Chris since an early age.

Michael has grown up learning all aspects of the business from John and has friends and contacts within the industry ranging from leading trainers Casper Fownes (Hong Kong) to Clint McDonald (Melbourne) and many many more.

Chris is the youngest of the family whose knowledge of fields, racing patterns and results far exceeds his age. Chris's passion for the industry attributed to his choice to enter the business upon its re establishment in 2004.

Current city winners include Three Amigos 3 wins, Mr Lovalover 2 wins, Original Lovalover 2 wins and 1 Group One Derby placing and You Know It also with a win. The stables success also extends to the country and city placings for Skydane, Everlast, Special Effect and Dilwynia.

With the combination of teamwork, excellent facilities and specialised individual attention to each horse, Gangemi Racing is proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the Western Australian racing ranks.
