Another good card of racing at Ascot today.

Some unusual weather forecast today and a max of just 25 degrees forecast. Cloudy with light rain developing during the late afternoon or evening. Light SW'ly winds becoming moderate W'ly in the afternoon. The rail is in the 6m position on a Good3 rated track. No bias expected but with these unseasonal conditions it might pay to get an eye on the early races for a better guide.

Adam Durrant heads the trainers metro premiership and has a strong team of gallopers racing today. Most of his team are racing in great heart and punters will be relying on two horses with a bit of heart both in name and nature today. Heart Ache and Golden Heart have both put together a string of victories and can complete a race to race double in races 6 and 7. Golden Heart steps into a quality field of sprinters but given its recent dominant form has to be rated a top chance. Durrants other top hopes today include Crosselle (race 2), New Image (race 3) and Rock My Pago (race 8).
